Marek and I live in different cities, but we usually see each other every weekend. This particular weekend though, he told me he wouldn't be able to come in until Saturday morning. However, not to my knowledge at the time, he had my parents ask me to go to dinner with them on Friday night. I accepted, and told them that would be great since Marek wasn't coming in until Saturday anyway.

My parents told me the reservation was for 7pm, and since we live on opposite sides of town, we would just meet there. I got there at 7pm, and there was Marek with my parents! Marek had set the whole thing up a couple of weeks earlier. He had met with my parents at 6pm to ask their permission for my hand and spent the rest of the hour visiting.

When I got to the restaurant and saw him there, I began shaking! He told me that he knew how much my parents meant to me, and thought it would be very special if they could be a part of this wonderful moment! and it was very special! Then, Marek got on bended knee and proposed. It was Perfect!!!!
