I came to Bentonville from our home town Fort Smith, Arkansas to look for a duplex since my husband (boyfriend at the time) got a job at the Walmart home office. I spent all day looking at duplexes and found one that I liked so I told Jerald about it and he said just get it. So a few days later I came back to Bentonville to sign some papers on it and Jerald met me at the office. After we signed everything he wanted to go look at it. On our way out of the duplex he said "Hey, I asked my boss for a little extra time for lunch and I thought we could run down to the court house and get married". Needless to say that was enough for me and we went down there and got our marraige license and got married in our home a few days later.
