Wedding DJ vs. Club DJ (Winter Music Conference)

I am super pumped to head to Miami tomorrow morning! I am going to the Winter Music Conference 2009 held in Miami at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa. I will be meeting all the Dj's all over the world. Tomorrow till Sunday will be a week full of events! Numerous networking events will be taking place every day by the pool side. I hope to meet many Dj's and people in the wedding world to hopefully use in my future events.

So many brides are choosing the original Wedding DJ verses a Club DJ. You are most likely thinking what is the difference? When I say Wedding DJ I mean the Cha Cha Slide, Old Time Rock n Roll, Love Shack, and Celebration. Get the idea? Now, when I talk about a Club DJ I am talking about live spinning to all of the top hits and old hits. Most of the Wedding DJs don't mix the songs they just press play and then put another song on after the three minute song is over.

Most of your guests will be expecting to have the basic "Wedding Songs." That is why I tell all of my clients to go with a Club DJ vs. the traditional Wedding DJ. It will be a new entertainment environment.You would also be surprised how much cheaper it is to go outside of the wedding entertainment circle and hire a local Club Dj.
